Setup

For the second annual National Forest Week in July of 2020, the National Forest Foundation came to us to create assets to support the campaign. The assets would be used by the NFF and also shared with corporate and on-the-ground partners, the US Forest Service, influencers, and the general public. Needless to say, we were all over the opportunity.

Solution

Our first task was to create something of a sub-brand for National Forest Week that spoke to a contemporary nod to the beloved Forest Service signage. Running with the campaign’s theme of “Discover Unforgettable Experiences,” we developed assets spanning print collateral, event banners, wearables, and various social media assets and templates.

In an effort to emphasize inclusion and accessibility, we curated photography to include unexpected moments of joy in ways that showed that our national forests are for all of us—not just the backcountry superheroes.
